CAMP AMERICA

Camp America is the longest running US summer camp job provider in Australia, with a proud reputation for fantastic service and support when you need it and OVATION is Camp America’s official travel provider.  Camp America will be there all the way through your camp experience – from completing your application and helping you decide which of your skills to highlight to camp directors, to organising your counsellor placement at one of over 1000 summer camps. But it doesn’t stop there; they will sponsor and help organise your J-1 visa, offer 24 hour support in the US and provide you with comprehensive medical insurance.

Summer camp jobs start sometime between May and June and run for 9-12 weeks; all camps will have staff training before the kids arrive. While you’re at camp all of your food and accommodation is taken care of so you have no expenses while you are at camp (unless of course, you want to go on a shopping spree at the local Walmart!). Once camp has ended you’ll be paid by the camp director and then enjoy a 30 day grace period to travel throughout the US with all those new friends you’ve made!
